Alumni Orchestra!
Calling all Anchorage Youth Symphony alumni! Join us in celebration of AYO’s 60th anniversary!
The Alumni Orchestra will perform selections from Bizet, Carmen Suite No. 1 under the direction of Music Director Emeritus Linn Weeda! The performance will take place at AYO’s Spring Celebration Concert, in collaboration with current members of the Anchorage Youth Symphony!
Dress Rehearsal: Saturday, May 16, 2026 / evening
Concert: Sunday, May 17, 2026 / 4:00pm
Both the Dress Rehearsal and Concert will take place in Atwood Concert Hall at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts.
To be considered for participation, please submit the form below by April 15, 2026:
Important Notes:
- Though we will make best efforts to include all alumni who wish to participate, please note that space will be limited.
- Rehearsal time will also be limited! Alumni should be prepared to join in at the Dress Rehearsal on the evening of Saturday, May 16. (Additional rehearsals may be available for local alumni, on select Monday evenings this spring.)

Classics & Cocktails is AYO’s largest fundraiser! You’ll be treated to a special evening filled with delicious bites and sips (NA welcome), both silent and live auction items, and a special concert by the Anchorage Youth Symphony, including a piece conducted by the evening’s winning Maestro for a Minute bidder!
Suggested alumni donation: $100 or any amount meaningful to you!
